Caribalent biedt mogelijkheden om Caribische kunstenaars te ondersteunen in hun creatieve reis. Hoewel we ernaar streven de nauwkeurigheid te garanderen, onderschrijven of garanderen we niet de betrouwbaarheid, professionaliteit of financiële praktijken van de genoemde organisaties.
We moedigen alle kunstenaars aan om grondig onderzoek te doen voordat ze zich aan een opdracht committeren. Als je aan een opdracht hebt deelgenomen en uitdagingen hebt ervaren, stellen we je feedback op prijs. Zo kunnen we onze community helpen weloverwogen beslissingen te nemen.

An open invitation for Caribbean artists to share evolving practices and perspectives. The initiative supports regional exchange and visibility for artists across borders.

Residency
BEERS London 40-Day Residency
A 40-day residency in London supporting artists with dedicated time for creative development. Selected artists receive studio space, an honorarium for living and materials, professional guidance from the BEERS team, and flexibility to shape their own schedule. Applications remain active for 12 months, and there is a £20 application fee.

Studio Museum in Harlem Artist-in-Residence Program 2026–2027
An 11-month residency for emerging and established artists of African and Afro-Latinx descent working across all media. The programme provides studio space, curatorial support, professional development and culminates in a major exhibition and publication. Open to international artists, including those based in the Caribbean.

Gasworks is offering a fully funded 11-week residency in London for Caribbean-based contemporary visual artists. The programme supports artistic research, experimentation, networking and cultural exchange through a self-led residency environment.

Eligibility: Open to contemporary visual artists based in the Caribbean. Applicants should have a strong artistic practice, be comfortable communicating in English and be able to engage with London’s contemporary art context.

A site-responsive residency for visual artists to develop work engaging with land, ecology, and place. Set on a rural property in Western Australia, the program supports research-driven, experimental practice rooted in environmental and cultural context, with an emphasis on community engagement and connection to landscape.~

The Kyoto Retreat
A 4-week international residency (November 1-30, 2026) for artists, curators, and writers focused on research, reflection, and cultural immersion in Japan rather than production. Participants are encouraged to explore Kyoto’s cultural landscape and use the time for inspiration and personal development.
