From May 20-25, 2025, the Cayman Islands will be transformed into a vibrant canvas when Cayman Art Week (CAW) returns for its fifth edition. This annual event celebrates the rich tapestry of Cayman art and offers a week-long program of exhibitions, studio tours, and interactive events across Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Little Cayman.


A Week of Artistic Exploration


Cayman Art Week 2025 promises an immersive experience with more than 40 events, including pop-up exhibitions, open studios, and extended gallery hours. Art enthusiasts can explore a wide range of artworks, from traditional paintings to contemporary installations, showcasing the talents of more than 100 artists. Galleries and studios will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with special appointments available for personalized visits.


Highlights from CAW 2025


  • Opening Night at Vines To Ocean (V2O): On May 20, artists Teresa Grimes and Petrina Wright will launch their exhibition "Caught In Passing," featuring Petrina's latest Cayman Brac series and Teresa's works from her Response series. CAYMAN ART WEEK


  • Cayman Brac Launch: On May 21, Gordon Solomon Gallery will present the official launch of Cayman Brac, featuring Solomon's latest collection, "Submerged," a captivating series highlighting his artistic evolution from 2010 to 2025. CAYMAN ART WEEK


  • National Gallery Opening Reception: Also on May 21, the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands will offer after-hours access to three exhibitions: "Evolutions: Continuity and Change in Cayman Art," "Step Back in Time: Community Archive," and "From the Mind."   • CAW West and Central Tours: On May 22 and 23, select bus tours will guide visitors through galleries and temporary exhibits along Seven Mile Beach, West Bay Road, and George Town, including venues such as The Studio at Kimpton Seafire, Kennedy Gallery, and the Cayman Islands National Museum. Cayman Resident


  • Little Cayman Bike Tour: A new addition this year, attendees can cycle around Little Cayman and visit art exhibits at the Little Cayman Museum, Seahorse Boutique, and the National Trust House, which feature works inspired by local flora and fauna. Cayman Resident
