Residency
BEERS London 40-Day Residency
A 40-day residency in London supporting artists with dedicated time for creative development. Selected artists receive studio space, an honorarium for living and materials, professional guidance from the BEERS team, and flexibility to shape their own schedule. Applications remain active for 12 months, and there is a £20 application fee.

Residency
Studio Museum in Harlem Artist-in-Residence Program 2026–2027
An 11-month residency for emerging and established artists of African and Afro-Latinx descent working across all media. The programme provides studio space, curatorial support, professional development and culminates in a major exhibition and publication. Open to international artists, including those based in the Caribbean.

Light Space & Time – “Landscapes” competition
Artists are invited to submit landscape-themed work across all media for this international competition. The theme will be the artist’s interpretation and depiction of the natural world, outdoor scenery, geographical environments, scenic vistas and related landscape subjects.

A multidisciplinary residency offering 1–3 week stays for artists and researchers to develop their practice in a remote, natural setting in Australia. The program supports experimentation, research, and creative risk-taking, with no requirement for a final outcome. Residents are provided time, space, and purpose-built studios to focus on their work alongside a diverse cohort.

Gasworks Residency Open Call for Caribbean Artists 2027
Gasworks is offering a fully funded 11-week residency in London for Caribbean-based contemporary visual artists. The programme supports artistic research, experimentation, networking and cultural exchange through a self-led residency environment.

Location: London, United Kingdom
Eligibility: Open to contemporary visual artists based in the Caribbean. Applicants should have a strong artistic practice, be comfortable communicating in English and be able to engage with London’s contemporary art context.
Award: Fully funded residency including studio space, accommodation, flights, visa support, curatorial guidance, networking opportunities, and a weekly stipend/materials support.

The Farm Margaret River Funded Residency 2027
A site-responsive residency for visual artists to develop work engaging with land, ecology, and place. Set on a rural property in Western Australia, the program supports research-driven, experimental practice rooted in environmental and cultural context, with an emphasis on community engagement and connection to landscape.~

The Kyoto Retreat
A 4-week international residency (November 1-30, 2026) for artists, curators, and writers focused on research, reflection, and cultural immersion in Japan rather than production. Participants are encouraged to explore Kyoto’s cultural landscape and use the time for inspiration and personal development.

Eligibility: Open to visual artists, curators, and writers (all career stages) aged 21+ from anywhere in the world.

Award: Round trip flight to Japan, 4-week stay (private bedroom in shared house) and $800 USD stipend for meals and local transport
