The two-day festival will transform Ciudad Nueva into a gathering place for art, live performances, food and creative expression on November 7 and 8, 2026.

The streets of Ciudad Nueva, Santo Domingo, will once again become a meeting point for Dominican creativity when CAYE Festival returns on November  7 and 8, 2026.

Created to celebrate Dominican identity, history and future, CAYE brings together different forms of creative expression in an event that extends beyond music and entertainment. The festival aims to support the visibility of the country's creative industries while contributing to the development of Santo Domingo's first Creative District.

Across the festival, visitors can expect a programme that brings together live music, dance and theatre, gastronomy, art and activities for children. Live painting is also among the featured experiences, placing visual art alongside the performances and other cultural activities.

The mix of programming gives the festival a broad appeal, inviting audiences to experience Dominican creativity through different disciplines and to engage with the people, practices and ideas shaping the country's cultural landscape.

At the heart of CAYE is a vision of culture as something experienced collectively. By bringing creative activity into the streets of Ciudad Nueva, the festival connects artistic expression with the surrounding urban environment, creating opportunities for people to gather, discover local talent and experience the city in a different way.

The emphasis on a Creative District also points to a wider ambition beyond the festival weekend. CAYE positions creative activity as part of how Santo Domingo can develop its identity, support its creative industries and shape its future.
