Artists retain a significant portion of sales, and selected works may receive juried awards.

Awards: Over US$8,000 in juried awards + 80% of artwork sales

Nature, Art & Research Residency



Set on a working ranch in Oregon, this residency brings together artists, writers, scientists, and researchers in a shared living and studio environment. The program encourages cross-disciplinary exploration, with the 2027 theme focusing on “process and material."


It is particularly suitable for Caribbean creatives interested in environmental themes, material experimentation, or research-based practice.


Deadline: July 6, 2026


Award & Support:

  • US$200 weekly stipend

  • Free accommodation and private studio

  • Up to US$300 travel reimbursement (eligible cases)

  • Access to facilities and professional networking


New York-Based Visual Arts Residency



This residency offers artists access to public-facing studio spaces in Brooklyn, along with institutional support, studio visits, and opportunities for public engagement. It is geared toward emerging and mid-career artists working in contemporary and multidisciplinary practices.

While highly competitive, it provides strong visibility within the New York art ecosystem.

Cultural Immersion Residency in Japan



This four-week residency is designed less for production and more for reflection, research, and cultural immersion in Kyoto. Artists, writers, and curators are encouraged to use the time to deepen creative thinking through lived experience in Japan.


For Caribbean creatives exploring global perspectives or seeking conceptual development, this is a strong opportunity for artistic reset and inspiration.

Programme dates: November 1–30, 2026


Award:

  • Round-trip flight to Japan

  • 4-week accommodation (shared housing, private room)

  • US$800 stipend for meals and transport


Eligibility highlights:

  • Open internationally

  • Open to artists, curators, and writers at all career stages, working in drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, film, video, new media, installation, fiction and nonfiction writing, poetry, interdisciplinary, and social practice.

  • Individuals must be over 21 years old to apply.
