Public Art Commission


Artists interested in permanent public art projects may wish to consider the Westonka Library Public Artwork Commissions in Mound, Minnesota. Organized by Hennepin County Library in partnership with Forecast Public Art, the initiative seeks mid-career and established artists or artist teams to create site-specific artworks for the new Westonka Library.


The project aims to strengthen the library's role as a community gathering space through permanent public artworks integrated into the building and surrounding environment.

All artistic styles are welcome.

The two-week residency provides uninterrupted time and space to develop new work at the Foundation's 17th-century villa and cultural center in Sezze Romano, Italy. The Fall 2026 cohort will include 4–5 residents.
